a bit about me:

hi!! i'm vi =3 (rhymes with 'hi' not 'bee'). i'm a 20 y/o artist from queens, ny. i created this site to have my own space on the web, where i could keep all my portfolios in one place -- and have them look how i want, without tracking, cookies or sprawling white minimalism.

as you may be able to tell, i have a passion for the old web. i love both its functional simplicity and aesthetic maximalism. i believe the web should be free, secure and fun, and that much of the scape of "modern" internet and web design is a joyless, soulless vessel to harvest and sell user data without consent. i decided the solution to this problem was to take things into my own hands and learn to code.

my site is still under construction, but i hope to make it a monument to the potential of ethical and exciting web design, as well as a demonstration of my own personal prowess in building beautiful, engaging webpages. if you have any suggestions or advice to help me improve this site, please leave a comment!! and as always, thank you for stopping by.
